1. Introduction
Agile Guild Ltd is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations and supporting the UK Government’s target to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. As a supplier of janitorial, hygiene and cleaning products and services, we recognise our role in promoting sustainability throughout our supply chain and day-to-day activities.

2. Our Commitments

  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant environmental legislation, including the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011, and Climate Change Act 2008.

  • Sustainable Procurement: Prioritise eco-certified cleaning products, biodegradable chemicals, and recycled or recyclable materials in our product range.

  • Transport Efficiency: Minimise carbon emissions from deliveries through route optimisation, load consolidation, and transition towards electric and hybrid vehicles.

  • Waste Reduction: Recycle and repurpose packaging wherever possible, avoid unnecessary single-use plastics, and ensure safe and compliant disposal via our Waste Carrier Licence (CBDL599261).

  • Energy Efficiency: Operate a paper-light office, reduce energy consumption through efficient equipment, and use cloud-based systems to cut printing and paper waste.

  • Continuous Improvement: Review and improve our carbon reduction measures annually, embedding sustainability into company culture and decision-making.

3. Targets

  • Short Term (2024–2025):

    • Ensure 85% of packaging waste is recycled or reused.

    • Transition at least 70% of high-volume products to eco-certified alternatives.

  • Medium Term (2026–2027):

    • Introduce electric or hybrid vehicles to make up 25% of our fleet.

    • Reduce carbon emissions per delivery by 15% through route optimisation.

  • Long Term (by 2030):

    • Achieve 95% landfill diversion for waste generated from our operations.

    • Become a carbon-neutral supplier, offsetting any residual emissions through certified schemes.
